Deacons travel to Illinois for Midwest Blast

URBANA, Ill. - The Wake Forest women's tennis team is in action this weekend at the Midwest Blast tournament, held at the University of Illinois. Andrea Retolaza Andrade, Brigita Bercyte, Karen Forman and Xue Zhang will be competing for the Demon Deacons in the last fall tournament of the year.
Play begins Friday with Wake Forest taking on Illinois and Georgia Tech in doubles and Purdue in singles.
On Saturday, the Demon Deacons will face Purdue in doubles and Illinois in singles.
Play concludes Sunday with Wake Forest playing Georgia Tech in singles.
