WILMINGTON, N.C. - Wake Forest volleyball's Andrea Beck was recently named to her second consecutive University Division All-State Volleyball Team, as announced by the North Carolina Collegiate Sports Information Association.
Beck also garnered her second consecutive All-ACC selection and excelled in the classroom during 2011, earning a spot on the Capital One Academic All-District III team.
The middle blocker missed the first 10 matches of the fall due to injury, but the Winston-Salem native missed just one ACC match - the ACC opener Duke.
Despite her shortened run of play, Beck finished the year third on the team with 271 kills and a .314 hitting percentage in 20 matches. In her 19 ACC contests, Beck was second on the team with 245 kills (3.27 k/s) and a .296 percentage. She also added 49 total blocks and 60 digs.
