•The Deacs fell to NC State on Wednesday night in the ACC opener.
•Kristin Grissom had three solo blocks and two block assists in the match while chipping in six kills for the Demon Deacons.

•Wake Forest heads to Chapel Hill, N.C. on Friday night with a showdown against ACC rival North Carolina at 7 p.m. in Carmichael Arena.
•NC State and North Carolina kicked off ACC play last Friday with the Wolfpack knocking off the Tar Heels 3-1 in Raleigh. UNC rebounded with a 3-2 win over Ohio on Sunday.

•North Carolina has won three-straight over Wake Forest with the Deacs last defeating the Tar Heels in 2009. UNC defeated Wake Forest 3-1 in Reynolds Gym in the teams' only meeting last season.
