Deacons Continue Play at Virginia and Elon Invitationals

Freshman Jon Ho went 3-0 in singles and doubles to lead the Wake Forest men's tennis team as it continued play at the UVA Ranked +1 and Elon Invitationals.
Ho defeated Ian Uriguen from Virginia and Andrew Gores from North Carolina to reach the consolation final of the White Singles draw. He will face Danil Zelenkov of George Washington in the finals of the consolation draw tomorrow.
Ho also teamed up with Adam Lee in doubles to defeat Joe Mills and Stijn Meulemans 8-3 in the third-place match of the Black Doubles flight.
Lee split two three-set singles matches, topping Christopher Lang of Middle Tennessee State before falling to VCU's Claes Goransson.
Amogh Prabhakar also picked up a singles win, taking down Memphis' Johnny Grimal 3-6, 6-4, 6-2. 17th-ranked Prabhakar and David Hopkins fell to Virginia's Alex Domijan and Harrison Richmond in the finals of the Black Doubles flight.
Sam Bloom was Wake Forest's lone winner at the Elon Invitational, defeating Matthias Kilder of USC Upstate 7-5, 7-5.
Both tournaments will conclude tomorrow.
