Davis With A Career Day
- Wide receiver Terence Davis finished the day with a career-high six receptions for a career-high 100 yards.
- His previous caught three passes on four different occasions and eclipsed his previous career-high of 63 yards receiving at Boston College on Oct. 1, 2011.
Thompson With Another Pick
- Defensive end Zach Thompson recorded his second-career interception in the third quarter.
- He snagged a Renfree pass that was deflected by Chibuikem Okoro at the Duke 20. That led to a game-tying field goal.
- Thompson also had an interception at Clemson on Nov. 12, 2011.
Olson And Jackson Step Up Again
- Junior linebackers Mike Olson and Justin Jackson are the Deacons top two tacklers and both posted career-highs for tackles against Duke.
- Olson finished with a game-high 13 tackles including one for a loss and a quarterback hurry.
- Jackson had 12 tackles and his team-leading third sack of the season.
- Olson is the team's leading tackler on the season with 44 while Jackson is right behind him with 42.
Knocked One Through
- Wake Forest place kicker Jimmy Newman nailed a 45-yard field goal in the second quarter to bring the Deacs within three at 13-10.
- That was Newman's first field goal of the season.
- Wake Forest entered the weekend as one of two teams in the FBS without a field goal this season.
That Was A Long Drive
- Wake Forest's 98-yard touchdown drive in the third quarter is tied for 3rd longest in school history.
- The Deacons had a 99-yard touchdown drives vs Navy in 1995 and Western Carolina in 1991.
First One Lost In Awhile
- Terence Davis's lost fumble in the second quarter was Wake Forest's first lost fumble of the season.
- It was the Deacons' first lost fumble in 10 games, dating back to the North Carolina game on Oct. 29, 2012.
