- The Demon Deacons will be hosting the Miami Hurricanes for the first time in over three seasons when the two teams meet Thursday evening at the Joel Coliseum.
- Tip-off is set for 6:30 p.m.

- The game will be shown live on the Regional Sports Networks. Mike Hogewood (play-by-play) and Christy Winters-Scott (analyst) will have the call.

Last Time Out
- In a back-and-forth game, the Deacons had the last punch and outlasted Boston College 92-87 in double-overtime last Sunday.
- All five Deacon starters scored in double-figures led by senior Lakevia Boykin's 27 points. Boykin was 8-of-16 from the field and 4-of-8 from beyond the arc.
- Chelsea Douglas finished with 21 points on a career-best 5-of-8 from long range.
- Senior Asia Williams played 47 of the 50 minutes and scored 15 points, grabbed a season-high nine rebounds and dished-out a team-high five assists.
- Sandra Garcia notched 11 points and eight rebounds while Dearica Hamby chipped-in with 10 points and three boards before fouling out.
- The Deacons led for all of 25 seconds in the second half but Williams found Garcia for the game-tying lay-up with 1.9 seconds left to send the game to overtime.
Thurday's Opponent
- Miami enters the contest with a 13-5 mark overall and a 4-3 record in the conference.
- The Hurricanes won 12 of their first 14 games but has since dropped three of the last four in conference play.
- Senior Stefanie Yderstrom is one of the best three-point shooters in the ACC, canning a team-high 40 threes and leading the team in scoring at 13.3 ppg.
- Morgan Stroman is averaging 12.4 points per game and is fifth in the ACC in rebounds per game at 8.6.
- The Hurricanes are fourth in the conference in both field goal defense and blocked shots per game.
Series History With Miami
- This will just be the 13th meeting all-time between Wake Forest and Miami.
- The Deacs lead the overall series 7-5.
- The teams split a pair of meetings last season with Miami holding serve at home and the Deacons upsetting the No. 7 Canes in the ACC Tournament.

- Wake Forest remains at home to host Virginia on Sunday, Jan. 27 at 2 p.m.
- The Deacons upset No. 20/21 Virginia 64-57 in the Cavaliers last trip to the Joel in 2010.
