Douglas Named To Preseason All-ACC Team

GREENSBORO, N.C. - Wake Forest senior Chelsea Douglas has been named to the Preseason All-ACC Team as voted on by members of the Blue Ribbon Panel.
The ACC also released the ACC Predicted Order of Finish on Wednesday as part of ACC Women's Basketball Media Day. The Demon Deacons were picked to finish 12th in the new 15-team league.
Douglas is the top returning scoring point guard in the conference. She led the team in scoring last season at 14.6 ppg and earned her first All-ACC honors. Douglas made 72 three-pointers which was third-best in the league and was also the third-highest total in school history.
In the ACC Tournament last season, Douglas averaged 23 points, five assists and 3.5 steals and played all but three of the 85 minutes. She became the first Demon Deacon the earn ACC All-Tournament team honors two times.
