Wake Forest Travels to Midwest Blast

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Wake Forest women's tennis team will play its final event of the fall this weekend when it travels to the Midwest Blast in Champaign, Illinois.
The Demon Deacons will square off against Purdue, Missouri and Illinois in a hidden dual match format, playing Purdue and Missouri in doubles and Illinois in singles on Friday, Illinois in doubles and Purdue in singles on Saturday and Missouri in singles on Sunday.
There will be no team scoring for the event, with all matches counting individually.
Wake Forest will take on Illinois and Missouri during the spring season, giving the Deacons a preview this weekend of how they will stack up against their opposition.
