Wake Forest welcomes Boston College and new ACC-member Syracuse this weekend continuing conference play for the Demon Deacons.

Last Time Out
No. 18 Florida State closed out a tight fourth set to fend off Wake Forest 3-1 (26-24, 25-16, 25-20, 25-22) on Saturday night in Reynolds Gym.
Wake Forest (14-8, 3-7 ACC) was led by Kylie Hargreaves who had 15 kills while Kristin Grissom had 12. Jazmen Russell recorded 10 kills and Megan Miller had 18 digs. Sophia Dodd had 36 assists and nine digs.
Wake Forest Storylines
Opponents are hitting .175 against the Demon Deacons this season which is the fifth best mark in the conference. Wake Forest is fourth in the ACC in blocks, averaging 2.54 per set.
Wake Forest plays the majority of its matches at home in Reynolds Gym in the month of November after playing a combined four matches at home in Winston-Salem in September and October.
The Demon Deacons came back from an 0-2 deficit against Notre Dame in South Bend, Ind. to win 3-2. It was the first time since 2006 that Wake Forest has rallied from an 0-2 deficit to win the match.
Wake Forest began the season 11-1 which was the best start in program history. The best start in school history was set in 2000 when the team went 10-1 to start the season. Wake Forest has also surpassed its win total from last season.
The Opposition & Series History
Wake Forest leads Boston College 11-4 in the all-time series after the two teams split the matches last season. The Demon Deacons won 3-1 on Nov. 4 in Chestnut Hill, Mass.
Katty Workman leads the team with 310 kills on the season. The Eagles have lost 12-straight matches entering Friday night.
Saturday marks the first ever match between Syracuse and Wake Forest.
Silva Uattara has a team-high 266 kills on the season to lead the Orange offensively.
Next Up...
The Demon Deacons head to Pittsburgh on Nov. 8 and will travel to Maryland for the last ACC matchup between the Demon Deacons and the Terrapins.
