Deacs to Showdown with No. 7 Duke

• No. 14 Wake Forest travels to Durham, N.C. on Sunday for a showdown with No. 7 Duke at 1 p.m.

Last Time Out

Taylor Rhea scored three goals while Lindsay Graham had two as No. 14 Wake Forest defeated Appalachian State 9-0 at Kentner Stadium on Tuesday night.
• Rhea's three goals are a career-high in a game and give her five on the season. Graham tallied her first two collegiate goals with two in the second half. Molly Murphy, Anna Koznuik, Krysta Wangerin and Holly Brown each added goals in the game.
• Goalkeeper Valerie Dahmen made two saves before giving way to Katie Osborne who played the last 27:48 of the game.

Wake Forest Storylines

• Wake Forest jumped up a spot to No. 14 in the latest NFCHA poll. The Deacs were ranked No. 18 in the preseason poll.
• The Deacs are 6-1 at Kentner Stadium this year, outscoring opponents 25-8 during that time.
• Wake Forest is 2-0 in overtime games this season.
Anna Kozniuk leads Wake Forest in points with 13 and has five goals for a team-high. She also has two defensive saves this season and is 2-for-2 on penalty stroke opportunities.
• The Demon Deacons unleashed 43 shots on Tuesday in the win over Appalachian State which is the most since 2005 when Wake Forest had 44 shots against the Mountaineers.

• Duke leads the all-time series with Wake Forest 39-29.
• Wake Forest took the last meeting between the two teams on Sept. 8, 2012 when the Deacs won 3-2 in overtime in Winston-Salem.
• The 13th-ranked Blue Devils utilized 12 penalty corner opportunities and dominated time of possession to dispatch Longwood 3-1 Sunday.
• The win comes on the heels of a thrilling 3-2 overtime shootout upset of top-ranked North Carolina Friday evening in Chapel Hill, completing a 2-0 weekend for Duke.
