DURHAM, N.C. - Wake Forest fell to Duke 3-0 (16-25, 22-25, 18-25) on Sunday at Cameron Indoor Stadium in an ACC match up.

Kylie Hargreaves had eight kills for Wake Forest in the match while Matalee Reed tallied seven. Kristin Grissom had one solo block and four block assists on Sunday. Reed led the team with 12 digs.

The first set began close between the two teams as Duke held a slim 11-10 lead over Wake Forest early.

Duke then went on an 8-1 run to push its lead to 19-11 before the Demon Deacons rattled off three straight points to narrow the lead. The Blue Devils then closed the set out to win 25-16 and take a 1-0 advantage in the match.

Wake Forest came out early in the second set and took a 7-3 lead, forcing Duke to take a timeout. The Blue Devils eventually tied the set at 10-10 and then took the lead.

After trailing 24-20, Wake Forest put up two points which was followed by a timeout from Duke. Following the timeout, Duke finished the set off 25-22 and took a 2-0 lead.

Duke controlled the pace in the third set throughout taking the third set 25-18 and winning the match 3-0.

Emily Sklar had a team-high 16 kills for Duke (13-2, 4-0 ACC) in the win while Jeme Obeime registered 15 kills in the win.

Wake Forest (12-3, 1-3 ACC) is back in action next Friday night at NC State with the match beginning at 7 p.m.
