Deacs to Open NCAAs At Home Against Morehead State

- Wake Forest will host Morehead State on Saturday at 7 p.m. in the opening round of the 2013 NCAA Championship.
- Tickets will be $7 for adults and $3 for seniors (55+), youths (4-18) and students with ID. They can be purchased in advance by calling the Wake Forest Ticket Office at 336-758-3322 and online or at the Spry Stadium box office on the day of the game.
- The game will be streamed for free online through the Wake Forest All-Access player. Steven Wright will have the call.

- Wake Forest is making its 18th straight appearance in the NCAA Championship, which is the sixth-longest active streak in the country.
- The Deacons have reached at least the second round of the last six NCAA Tournaments.
- Wake Forest is hosting its first tournament game for the fifth time in the last six years. The Demon Deacons are 11-2 in NCAA Tournament games at Spry Stadium.
- The only previous meeting between Wake Forest and Morehead State came in the first round of the 2008 NCAA Championship with the Demon Deacons posting a 2-0 victory at Spry Stadium.

- Riley Ridgik enters Saturday's game on a four-game goal-scoring streak. She is trying to become the first Demon Deacon to score in five straight since Katie Stengel accomplished the feat in the 2011 postseason.
- Aubrey Bledsoe (first team), Riley Ridgik (second team), Katie Stengel (second team) and Sarah Teegarden (freshman team) earned All-ACC honors. Stengel became only the second four-time All-ACC selection in program history.
- Aubrey Bledsoe is a finalist for the Senior CLASS Award. Fans are encouraged to vote for Aubrey at SeniorClassAward.com.

- The winner of Saturday's game will face the winner of the first round game between Monmouth and No. 4 seed Penn State in the second round. The second and third rounds will be held at the same site next weekend - the site will be determined depending on this weeks results.
