Wake Forest Hosts North Carolina and NC State

• Wake Forest hosts No. 14 North Carolina on Wednesday and NC State on Saturday in the last two matches of the regular season. Both matches will take place in Reynolds Gym.
• The Demon Deacons will honor seniors Kristin Grissom and Kylie Hargreaves on Saturday prior to the match for Senior Day.

Last Time Out

• Wake Forest volleyball fell to Miami 3-0 (19-25, 20-25, 15-25) on Sunday in the final road match of the regular season.
• Wake Forest (15-15, 4-14 ACC) was led by Jazmen Russell who registered nine kills in the match. Sophia Dodd had six kills and 18 assists while Megan Miller had 13 digs.

Wake Forest Storylines

• Wake Forest plays the majority of its matches at home in Reynolds Gym in the month of November after playing a combined four matches at home in Winston-Salem in September and October.
• The Demon Deacons came back from an 0-2 deficit against Notre Dame in South Bend, Ind. on Oct. 4 to win 3-2. It was the first time since 2006 that Wake Forest has rallied from an 0-2 deficit to win the match.
• Wake Forest began the season 11-1 which was the best start in program history. The best start in school history was set in 2000 when the team went 10-1 to start the season. Wake Forest has also surpassed its win total from last season.

The Opposition & Series History

• Wake Forest leads the all-time series with NC State 29-22. The Wolfpack defeated the Demon Deacons 3-0 on Oct. 11 in Raleigh after the two teams split meetings last season.
• NC State is fourth in the ACC with an 11-7 mark in the conference.
• North Carolina has won six-straight matches coming into Wednesday with all three losses this season coming in the ACC to Duke, Florida State and Miami.
• The Tar Heels won the first match up with the Deacs this season, a 3-0 win on Oct. 12 in Chapel Hill, N.C.
