WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Junior Anna Kozniuk was named to the Longstreth/NFHCA Division I All-America Second Team as announced by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFCHA) on Monday.
This is the third All-America honor for Kozniuk, a junior from North Vancouver, Canada, who was named to the All-America Third Team in both her freshman and sophomore seasons.
During the 2013 season, Kozniuk tallied nine goals and six assists this season for a total of 24 points which is a career high. She also had two defensive saves and was two-for-two on penalty stroke opportunities this season.
A preseason All-ACC honoree, Kozniuk was named to the All-ACC First Team for the third straight season in 2013 and was also selected to the All-South Region First Team. She has been named to the All-South Region First Team every year at Wake Forest as well.
Wake Forest finished the season with a 12-9 overall record and advanced to the quarterfinals of the NCAA Tournament after defeating Old Dominion in the first round. The Demon Deacons ended the season ranked No. 13 in the nation.
