WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Wake Forest will open the month of February and officialy hit the midway point of the conference season on Saturday when the Demon Deacons travel to College Park to take on the Maryland Terrapins. Tip-off is set for 2 p.m. at the Comcast Center.

Saturday's game will be televised regionally by Fox Sports. Rich Waltz (play-by-play) and Mike Gminski (color) will call the action.
The game can also be heard on the Wake Forest IMG Sports Network and online at WakeForestSports.com. Stan Cotten (play-by-play) and Mark Freidinger (color) have the call.
Last Time Out
Wake Forest is coming off a 75-70 loss to No. 5-ranked Duke on Wednesday in Winston-Salem. The Blue Devils ended the game on a 10-4 run to deny the Deacons their second-straight home upset.
Devin Thomas continued to pace Wake Forest, scoring a team-high 15 points on 7-of-10 shooting. Thomas also pulled down six rebounds and dished out a pair of assists despite missing time with foul trouble.
C.J. Harris and Travis McKie scored 14 points apiece. McKie added two steals, two blocks and a steal in 37 minutes.
Madison Jones made his second start of the season and finished with four points on 2-of-2 shooting with a team-best five assists in 31 minutes.
The Opposition
Maryland (15-6, 3-5 ACC) is coming off a 73-71 loss at Florida State on Wednesday in Tallahassee. FSU's Michael Snaer made a 3-pointer with 1.1 seconds left to steal the win for the Seminoles.
The Terrapins are 13-1 at the Comcast Center this season, including a 3-1 record in conference play. The only blemish on Maryland's home record is a 65-62 loss to Florida State on Jan. 9.
Series History
Maryland leads the all-time series with Wake Forest, 66-56. The Terrapins have won four straight in the series after posting two wins over the Demon Deacons last season, including an ACC Tournament win.
The series dates back to the 1952-53 season when the Deacons picked up a 61-59 defeat of the Terps in the Southern Conference Tournament in Raleigh.
Next Up...
Wake Forest will play at in-state rival North Carolina on Tuesday, Feb. 5, at 7 p.m. The Tar Heels (14-6, 4-3 ACC) have won four of their past five games and will host Virginia Tech on Saturday before welcoming in the Deacons.
The Deacons will then host Florida State on Saturday, Feb. 9, at noon. The Seminoles (12-8, 4-3 ACC) are set to host Duke on Saturday and play at Georgia Tech next Tuesday before traveling to Winston-Salem.
