WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Wake Forest will get its first look of the season at in-state rival North Carolina, as the Demon Deacons and Tar Heels meet on Tuesday evening in Chapel Hill. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. at the Dean E. Smith Center.

Tuesday's game will be televised on ESPNU. Tom Hart (play-by-play) and Len Elmore (color) will call the action.
The game can also be heard on the Wake Forest IMG Sports Network and online at WakeForestSports.com. Stan Cotten (play-by-play) and Mark Freidinger (color) have the call.
Last Time Out
Wake Forest is coming off an 86-60 loss at Maryland on Saturday. The Terrapins used a hot-shooting first half to jump on Wake Forest early, shooting 74 percent in the period, and the Deacons could never recover.
Travis McKie led the Deacons with 15 points and six rebounds, including four offensive boards,. McKie went 3-for-5 from 3-point range on the day.
Codi Miller-McIntyre followed with 14 points on 6-of-15 shooting, going 2-for-5 from beyond the arc.
Devin Thomas finished with 12 points on 6-of-9 shooting, while C.J. Harris chipped in 10 points, three steals and two assists. Madison Jones, who made his second straight start, led Wake Forest with four assists.
The Opposition
North Carolina (15-6, 5-3 ACC) is coming off a 72-60 overtime win against Virginia Tech last Saturday in Chapel Hill. The win was the fifth in the past six games for the Tar Heels, who have gone 10-1 at the Smith Center.
The Tar Heels lead the ACC in scoring offense (78.7 ppg), assists (18.2 apg) and steals (8.4 spg).

North Carolina leads the all-time series with Wake Forest by a 154-65 margin. The teams have split their past 16 meetings since 2001-02.
In its 220th all-time meeting, the Wake Forest-UNC series is the fifth-most frequent in ACC history. The series dates back to the 1910-11 season.
In the Deacons' most recent trip to Chapel Hill, the No. 19-ranked Tar Heels picked up a 78-64 win on Feb. 15, 2011.
Next Up...
Wake Forest will host Florida State on Saturday, Feb. 9, at noon. The Seminoles (12-9, 4-4 ACC) will play at Georgia Tech on Tuesday before traveling to Winston-Salem.
The Deacons will then head north to take on Boston College on Wednesday, Feb. 13, at 7 p.m. in Chestnut Hill. The Eagles (10-11, 2-6 ACC) will play at Miami on Tuesday and host Duke on Sunday evening before welcoming in Wake Forest.
