WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - No. 10 seed Wake Forest will take on No. 7 seed Maryland on Thursday in the opening round of the 60th annual ACC Tournament in Greensboro. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. at the Greensboro Coliseum, site of the Deacons' last two Tournament titles--back-to-back championships in 1995 and 1996.

Thursday's game will be televised on ESPNU and on the ACC Network. Dan Shulman, Sean Farnham and Jeannine Edwards will call the action for ESPNU. Tim Brando and Dan Bonner have the call for the ACC Network.

Last Time Out
Wake Forest is coming off a 90-79 win over Virginia Tech on Sunday in Winston-Salem. C.J. Harris tied his career-high with 29 points to lead the Deacons past the Hokies.
A Winston-Salem native, Harris went 8-for-14 from the field and 6-for-6 from 3-point range while dishing out three assists with no turnovers in his final game at the Joel Coliseum. Harris is the first Deacon to score 29 points or more in his final home game since Muggsy Bogues in 1987.
The Deacons raced out to a 9-0 lead, led by 14 at halftime and pushed their advantage to as many as 24 in the second half.
Devin Thomas and Arnaud William Adala Moto owned the interior. Thomas had 17 points on 7-of-9 shooting with eight rebounds and four assists, while Adala Moto scored a season-high 16 points on 5-of-6 shooting.
The Opposition
Maryland (20-11, 8-10 ACC) is coming off a 61-58 overtime loss at Virginia on Sunday. This marks the second straight season the Terps have opened the ACC Tournament against Wake Forest coming off an overtime loss to Virginia.
ACC Tournament History
Wake Forest is 42-55 all-time at the ACC Tournament, including a 3-6 mark against Maryland. The Deacons and Terrapins met in the first-ever ACC Tournament in 1954 and the most recent ACC Tournament in 2012.
The Deacons have four ACC Tournament titles to their credit, winning the event in 1961 and 1962 in Raleigh and in 1995 and 1996 in Greensboro.
Next Up...
The winner of Thursday's Wake Forest-Maryland game will take on No. 2 seed Duke on Friday at 7 p.m. The No. 2-ranked Blue Devils (27-4, 14-4 ACC) swept the two regular season meetings with Wake Forest.
Wake Forest and Duke last met in the ACC Tournament in 2006 in Greensboro when the No. 1-seeded Blue Devils took down the No. 12-seeded Deacons 78-66 in the semifinals.
