Wake Forest Defeats High Point in Second Spring Outing

HIGH POINT, N.C. - Wake Forest continued to show positive results in the spring season on Wednesday with a defeat of local rival High Point in five sets on Wednesday night.
The Demon Deacons took the first two sets in decisive fashion, winning the first one 25-18 and the second 25-17. After a rally from High Point, the Deacs played a solid fifth set, winning 15-7 and taking the match.
"We had a great team effort," said head coach Ken Murczek. "It was great to see us continue to make progress after a great Saturday this past weekend. We're continuing to build on our vision and make good progress."
Wake Forest will continue the spring season with the Coastal Virginia College Tournament in Virginia Beach, Va. on April 6.
