The schedule features six teams who went to the NCAA tournament in 2013. Those teams include traditional ACC rivals such as Florida State, North Carolina, NC State and Miami along with new ACC foe Notre Dame. Wake Forest will play Cleveland State who also went to the tournament in last season.
"Playing five NCAA tournament teams in ACC play and four of those we get to play twice," said Murczek. "It will be a great challenge for our veteran squad. We're fortunate to have some success this spring and hopefully see a transfer into the fall season."
Beginning with the Deacon Invitational at home on Aug. 30, the Demon Deacons will open the season with a Friday match against ECU at 6:30 p.m. in Reynolds Gym. Saturday, the Deacs will play ETSU and UNCG to wrap up the tournament.

"I'm excited about opening the 2013 season at home the first weekend," said Murczek. "It will be a challenge to fly to California and then to Kansas City soon after but it will nice to bring our seniors home to California and have them play in front of their families."
