WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Wake Forest hosts Winthrop on Tuesday in the final home game of the 2013 season. The Demon Deacons are 19-6 against non-conference opponents this season and have not dropped a non-conference game since March 19.

Last Time Out
Wake Forest broke a 3-3 tie late in the game on Sunday with Miami, rolling to a 9-3 win to take the series on Senior Day.
Grant Shambley continued to swing the bat well by going 2-for-5 with a pair of doubles, two runs scored and three RBIs.
On the weekend, Shambley went 7-for-11 with five RBIs, two doubles, two runs scored and three stolen bases.
This Week's Opponent
Winthrop has a 19-32 record and a 7-14 mark in the Big South.
The Eagles took two-out-of-three games at VMI last weekend including a 5-4 win on Sunday.
Clay Altman has a team-high 20 RBIs while Cody Dolan, Chad Smith and Matt Lobacz each have 19.
Series History
Wake Forest maintains a 9-6 advantage in the overall series beginning in 2004.
The Deacs cruised to a 10-2 win at Winthrop on April 23 which was head coach Tom Walter's 100th career win at Wake Forest. Matt Conway, Pat Blair and Charlie Morgan all homered in the game.
