WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Wake Forest volleyball held a free volleyball clinic last Thursday in Reynolds Gym with over 180 kids in attendance.
Head coach Ken Murczek, assistant coaches Sarah Rumely and Diego Castaneda along with current players Kristin Grissom and Danae Rosendall in addition to former standout Andrea Beck all helped coach the kids in different stations of volleyball fundamentals.
There were three groups set up by grades including kindergarten to fourth grade (50 kids), grades 5-8 (60 kids) and grades 9-12 (75 kids).
Each group rotated between six stations every 10 minutes to work on skills such as serving, setting, passing, attacking, armwing progressions and working on the proper attacking approach.
Wake Forest volleyball will hold several camps this summer. More information can be found on the camp homepage.
The Demon Deacons begin their 2013 season on Aug. 30 against East Carolina in Reynolds Gym at 6:30 p.m.
