- Wake Forest is riding a five-game win streak as it opens ACC play this Saturday at home against Miami.
- Tip off is scheduled for 4 p.m. from the LJVM Coliseum.

Last Time Out
- Behind a school-record 48 points from senior Chelsea Douglas, Wake Forest defeated Florida International 86-79 to win the FIU Sun & Fun Classic on Dec. 29.
- Douglas scored 26 points in the first half and finished the game with a career-high and school-record nine three-pointers. Her 48 points were two-shy of the ACC record and her nine three-pointers tied the ACC single-game record.
- Doulgas dueled all game with FIU's Jerica Coley, who was the nation's leader scorer a year ago. Coley finished the night with 47 points.
- Junior Dearica Hamby scored 24 points and grabbed 12 rebounds for her eighth-straight double-double.
Wake Forest Storylines
- Senior Chelsea Douglas scored a school-record 48 points against FIu on Dec. 29. She also made a school-record nine three-pointers in the game. Douglas was the first player in school history to score 20 or more points in the first three games of a season. She leads the ACC in scoring (21.5) and three-pointers made (49).
- Dearica Hamby has notched a total of 11 double-doubles this season and has had a double-double in each of the last eight games. She was named to the All-Tournament Team at both the Nugget Classic and the FIU Sun & Fun Classic and is currently second in the ACC in scoring at 21.3 points per game.
- Douglas is currently sixth in school history with 1,413 career points and also second with 220 career three-pointers.
The Opposition
- Miami comes into the game with an 8-5 record after having fallen to Penn 67-66 at home on Jan. 1.
- Caprice Dennis leads the team in scoring at 14.1 points per game.
- Keyona Hayes (11.5) and Suriya McGuire (10.4) are the other two `Canes averaging in double-figures.
Series History
- The Demon Deacons cling to a narrow 7-6 edge in the all-time series with Miami.
- The Hurricanes have won three of the last four meetings with the lone Deacon win coming in the 2012 ACC Tournament when Wake knocked-off No. 7 Miami 81-74. That is still tied for the highest-ranked team Wake Forest has ever beaten.
