• For Senior Day, No. 13-ranked Wake Forest hosts the No. 10-ranked Syracuse Orange in ACC play Sunday afternoon at Kentner Stadium at noon.

• Wake Forest will recognize four seniors, Christine Conroe, Tyra Clemmenson, Georgia Holland, and Anna Kozniuk, for their outstanding careers and contributions to the field hockey program.

• Wake Forest split last weekend against two top-five opponents. The Deacs fell to No. 1 North Carolina 2-1 in overtime at Kentner last Thursday, and defeated the No. 3-ranked Virginia Cavaliers 4-3 on Sunday.
Christine Conroe scored a hat trick and recorded an assist in the win over No. 3 Virginia.

• Wake Forest moves up No. 13 in the fifth NFHCA Poll after after a solid weekend of play. The team finished the 2013 season ranked No. 13.
• Kozniuk was named ACC Co-Player of the Week for the week of Sept. 29th, after a two goal performance against Boston College. She currently is tied for second in the ACC with 11 goals.
• Kozniuk and Holland were named to the Preseason All-ACC team.

• Syracuse enter the match No. 10 after picking up a 3-1 win against then No. 5 Louisville and a 5-0 shutout of Cornell.
• Annalena Ulbrich was named the US College Field Hockey Division I Player of the Week, as announced on Wednesday by US College Sport.
• Laura Hurff was named this week's ACC Player of the Week.

Series History >>
• This will be the fourth meeting between the two sides as the Orange hold a slight 2-1 advantage in the all-time series and have won the last two.
• Syracuse won last year's matchup 5-2 on Oct. 26, 2013 in Syracuse, N.Y.
• Wake Forest won the first-ever meeting 3-2 in overtime in the 2008 NCAA Tournament semifinals on Nov. 21, 2008.
