Bogaerts Wins Fall Debut in Main Draw of ITAs

TULSA, Okla. - Romain Bogaerts won his fall debut in the main draw the ITA All-American Championships to advance to the round of 32 as he led Wake Forest men's tennis.
The Wake Forest junior took on Louisville's Albert Wagner, who had already defeated a pair of Demon Deacons this fall.
Bogaerts, ranked No. 20 nationally, earned the straight-sets victory, beating Wagner 6-2, 6-4.
The Belgium native takes on All-American and No. 3-ranked Axel Alvarez Llamas from Oklahoma tomorrow at approximately 11 a.m. ET.
After earning six straight wins to advance out of pre-qualifiers and qualifiers, Jon Ho fell in the opening round of the main draw.
Ho twice pushed Georgia's No. 12-ranked Austin Smith to a tiebreak, but each Smith time came out on top as he edged Ho, 7-6 (6), 7-6 (6).
