The Demon Deacons cap off their toughest stretch of the year, playing their seventh ranked foe out of the past eight games, this time traveling to #6 UNC.

Wake Forest battled #21 Clemson to a double-overtime 1-1 draw.
Sarah Teegarden earned her first goal of the season when she put a free kick into the upper-90 in the 71st minute.
Clemson tallied the equalizer in the 79th minute on a penalty kick after a Wake Forest handball in the box.
Nine Demon Deacons played all 110 minutes. Teegarden led the team with three shots on goal, while Pilar Torres added two.

UNC is currently riding a six-game winning streak, including one-goal victories in all four ACC contests.
Most recently, the Tar Heels jumped out to a 3-0 lead against Virginia Tech, hanging on to survive with a 3-2 win.
North Carolina is ranked sixth by Soccer America and seventh by the NSCAA and TopDrawerSoccer. In the RPI, the Tar Heels are slotted second behind Stanford.
Joanna Boyles leads UNC with nine points on three goals and three assists, while Amber Munerlyn (2g, 3a) and Megan Buckingham (3g) also have more than five points.
In goal, Bryane Heaberlin (4-1) and Lindsey Harris (3-1-1) have each seen action. They each have a GAA below 1.00, more than 15 saves, and a save percentage better than .750.

Freshman keeper Lindsay Preston is currently third in the ACC in saves (43), fifth in saves per game (3.91), and sixth in shutouts (3). Her nine-save game at No. 1 UCLA is tied for the second-highest total in the ACC this season.
Wake Forest Storylines >>
The Deacs have started at least seven underclassmen and at least four freshmen in every game this season. Versus Clemson, six freshmen were in the starting XI, including at least one at every position (GK/D/M/F).
Wake Forest is in the midst of its toughest stretch of the season. The Deacs have played ranked opponents in six of the last seven contests, and still have #6 UNC and #9 Virginia Tech on the schedule.
