Wake Forest 2014 Finale >>
The Deacs play their final game of the season, traveling to Miami on Nov. 2 at 1 p.m. to close out the 2014 season.
Last Time Out >>
Wake Forest battled Syracuse to a scoreless draw (Oct. 26).
Lindsay Preston made five saves en route to her fifth clean sheet of the season.
The Deacs out-shot the Orange 16-7. Eight of Wake Forest's shots were on target, but each was saved by the Syracuse keeper.
Riley Ridgik led the Demon Deacons in shots (five) and shots on goal (four).
Wake Forest extended its unbeaten streak to three games, the longest of the season.
Scouting The Hurricanes >>
Miami enters the game with a 3-12-1 overall mark, 1-6-1 in the ACC.
The Hurricanes snapped a 10-game winless skid by defeating NC State 3-1 on Oct. 23. Before that win, Miami had been shut out in four straight contests.
Miami's offense is led by Natalie Moik (4g, 1a) and Erin McGovern (2 g, 3a).
Emily Lillard has played every minute in goal, and has a 1.97 goals-against average, .695 save percentage and two shutouts.
The Hurricanes' other two wins came against Jacksonville and Stetson.
Between The Posts >>
Freshman keeper Lindsay Preston is currently third in the ACC in saves (66), sixth in saves per game (4.12), and sixth in shutouts (5).
Her five shutouts are the most for a Wake Forest freshman since Laura Morse had six in 2006.
Wake Forest Storylines >>
The Deacs have started at least seven underclassmen and at least four freshmen in every game this season. At UNC, a season-high seven freshmen were in the starting XI, including at least one at every position (1 GK/2 D/2 M/2 F).
Wake Forest played eight ranked opponents this season, all of them consensus top 25 teams in both the NSCAA and Soccer America. That is the most of any ACC team; North Carolina and Duke each played seven consensus top 25 programs.
