The Demon Deacons hit the road for two ACC matches this weekend. Wake Forest goes to Blacksburg, Va. to take on Virginia Tech on Friday at 7 p.m. and Clemson on Sunday at 1 p.m. in Clemson, S.C.

Wake Forest had a clean sweep last weekend in Reynolds Gym with a 3-2 victory against Notre Dame and a 3-0 shutout of Louisville on Senior Day.
Virginia Tech defeated the Cardinals 3-2 on Sunday in one match last week.
At home, Clemson fell 3-0 to Louisville on Friday, but bounced back with a 3-1 against NC State on Sunday.

Kylie Long was named ACC Freshman of the Week after recording a double-double against the Fighting Irish and 16 kills against the Cardinals.
With 467 kills this season, Russell is now only 35 kills away from breaking Hall of Famer Trina Maso de Moya's single season record of 502 kills in 2001.
Russell is second in the ACC in kills per set with 4.45 so far this season. She is averaging 4.38 in ACC matches only, ranked third in the league this season.
No. 15 continued her stellar play as she recorded double-digit kills for the 17th consecutive match with 22 against Louisville.
Caroline Wolf is third in the ACC in digs per set, averaging 4.35 so far this season. She has a total of 474 digs this season.
Matalee Reed, Ashlee Rusk, Russell, and Wolf have all earned All-Tournament Team honors in the Deacs' preseason tournaments.
Series History >>
The Hokies have matched up against the Deacs 39 times and hold a 27-12 edge in the series.
Earlier this season, Wake Forest defeated the Hokies 3-2 on Sept. 26, at Reynolds Gym.
The Tigers lead 30-11 in the all-time series against the Demon Deacons and lead 14-6 in Clemson, S.C.
The last meeting was last season on Nov. 17, 2013. Wake Forest was on the losing end both times in five sets last year.
