The Demon Deacons wrap up the 2014 season with two ACC road matches this week. Wake Forest goes to Raleigh, N.C. to take on NC State on Wednesday at 2 p.m. and No. 7 North Carolina on Friday at 2 p.m. in Chapel Hill, N.C.

Wake Forest split this past weekend. They bounced back from a 3-0 loss on Friday by beating Clemson 3-0 on Sunday to split the weekend.
The Wolfpack split last weekend with a loss against Pitt and a win over Notre Dame.
The seventh-ranked Tar Heels swept Notre Dame 3-0 and defeated Louisville 3-1 last weekend. North Carolina returns home, where they have not lost a match all season.

With 492 kills this season, Russell is now only 11 kills away from breaking Hall of Famer Trina Maso de Moya's single season record of 502 kills in 2001.
Russell is second in the ACC in kills per set with 4.45 so far this season. She is averaging 4.38 in ACC matches only, ranked third in the league this season.
No. 15 continued her stellar play and she has recorded double-digit kills for the 18 of her last 17 matches.
Kylie Long was named ACC Freshman of the Week for the week of Nov. 10, after recording a double-double against Notre Dame and 16 kills against Louisville.
Caroline Wolf is third in the ACC in digs per set, averaging 4.27 so far this season. She has a total of 491 digs this season.
Matalee Reed, Ashlee Rusk, Russell, and Wolf have all earned All-Tournament Team honors in the Deacs' preseason tournaments.

The Demon Deacons lead the all-time series 31-22 against the Wolfpack and hold an 12-9 advantage in Raleigh, N.C.
On Oct 3, trailing 2-0 in the match and 24-22 in the third set, Wake Forest put together a rally to come back and defeat NC State 3-2 in Reynolds Gym.
The Tar Heels lead 43-14 in the all-time series against the Demon Deacons and lead 19-3 in Chapel Hill, N.C.
In the last meeting, both teams faced each other last season on Nov. 27, 2013. North Carolina won, shutting out the Deacons 3-0 in Reynolds Gym.
