#11 Wake Forest vs. #8 Louisville >>
No. 11-ranked Wake Forest faces off against the No. 8 ranked-Louisville Cardinals on Thursday morning at 11 a.m. in Durham to begin the ACC Field Hockey Championships.

The Demon Deacons closed out the regualr season with a win at Ohio on Saturday afternoon.
Shannon Eby and Anna Kozniuk were the goalscorers for the Deacs. Eby scored at the 23:24 mark and Kozniuk scored at the 48:40 mark.
The win the Wake Forest's third in their last four matches heading into the ACC Field Hockey Championships.

Wake Forest had three players selected to the 2014 All-ACC Team this week in Anna Kozniuk, Christine Conroe, and Georgia Holland.
Anna Kozniuk earned a spot on the All-ACC Team for the fourth time. She is the first Wake Forest player to do so and the 12th in ACC Field Hockey history.

Wake Forest moves to No. 11 in the ninth and newest NFHCA Poll.
The Demon Deacons are No. 9 in the RPI and are the No. 4 seed in the ACC Championships.
Anna Kozniuk was named ACC Co-Player of the Week on Oct. 6th.
Kozniuk and Georgia Holland were named to the Preseason All-ACC team.

Against the Louisville Cardinals, Wake Forest has a 9-3 lead in the all-time series and Thursday's match will be the 13th meeting.
The Cardinals have gotten the best of the Deacs the last two matchups. Louisville won 2-1 in OT earlier this season at Kentner Stadium on Sept. 26.

If Wake Forest advances, they would play the No. 1 seed Virginia in the ACC Field Hockey Championship Semifinal on Friday, Nov. 7 at 1 p.m. The ACC Championship match is on Sunday at 1 p.m. All the matches throughout the tournament will be broadcast on ESPN3.
