No. 25 Deacons Open Home ACC Play This Weekend

No. 25 Wake Forest Hosts Three Home Matches
- No. 25 Wake Forest returns to Winston-Salem for its first home ACC matches of the season, hosting No. 74 Georgia Tech on Saturday at 1 p.m., No. 22 Clemson on Sunday at 1 p.m. and NC Central on Sunday at 5 p.m.
- The return home is welcome for the Demon Deacons, who are looking to snap a five-match losing skid. Four of those matches came on the road.
- Georgia Tech has struggled through injuries this season, entering with a 7-7 (1-3 ACC) record. Last weekend, the Yellow Jackets beat Boston College at home before falling to No. 11 Notre Dame.
- Clemson has been one of the hottest teams in the ACC this season, entering with a 16-3 (3-1 ACC) record.
Promotions Planned
- Admission to all matches is free at the Wake Forest Tennis Complex.
- Free smoothies will be available to the first 100 students at Saturday's match against Georgia Tech, courtesy of Tropical Smoothie Cafe.
- Sunday's match against Clemsonwill be Wake Forest's Kids Day. Kids will be able to play in the bounce house on site and meet the Demon Deacon mascot.

- Wake Forest dropped to No. 25 in this week's ITA Team Rankings. The Demon Deacons have been ranked in the top 25 for 15 consecutive weeks dating back to last season, their longest stretch since 2009-10.
- The Demon Deacons have three players in the ITA Singles Rankings - No. 32 Romain Bogaerts, No. 45 Adam Lee and No. 68 Maksim Kan.
- In the doubles rankings, Lee and Pedro Dumont are ranked 52nd, though the two have not played together since early February.
Top Storylines
- Maksim Kan's 13 dual match singles wins trail only 14 from North Carolina's Ronnie Schneider as the most for an ACC freshman this season. Kan is 13-2 in dual matches and 21-5 overall.
- Wake Forest has won three straight matches against Georgia Tech. The Yellow Jackets, including a 6-1 rout in Atlanta last year.
