- Wake Forest enters the 37th ACC Women's Basketball Tournament as the No. 11-seed and will take on No. 14-seed Pitt in the opening round.
- The game is set for 6:30 p.m. at the Greensboro Coliseum.
- The game will also be televised on the Regional Sports Network. Mike Hogewood (play-by-play) and Debbie Antonelli (analyst) will have the call.
Last Time Out
- Seniors Chelsea Douglas and Lindsy Wright turned in strong performances in the last home game of their Wake Forest careers, but Wake Forest fell to Syracuse 64-54 on Sunday at the LJVM Coliseum.
- Douglas, who was the second leading scorer and started all but two games this season for Wake Forest, finished the game with 15 points. Douglas hit a key three-pointer in a last-minute comeback attempt and finished with two assists in 38 minutes of play.
- Wright, who started for the first time this season, finished the game with six points and 10 rebounds in a season-high 34 minutes on the floor.
- Junior Dearica Hamby picked up her 21st double-double this season with 22 points and 11 rebounds. That is the most double-doubles in a season by a Demon Deacon as she came into the game tied with Tracy Connor, who had 20 double-doubles during the 1992-93 season.
Wake Forest Storylines
- Dearica Hamby has notched a school-record 21 double-doubles this season. She is just the 23rd Demon Deacon to score 1,000 career points and currently has 629 points this season, which is also a school-record. Hamby currently leads the ACC in scoring (21.7) and rebounding (10.9).
- Senior Chelsea Douglas has earned ACC All-Tournament Team honors each of the last two seasons. She is the only player in school-history to accomplish that feat.
- Wake Forest is the only team in the conference to have won a game at the ACC Tournament each of the last three seasons.
The Opposition
- Pitt comes into its first ACC Tournament at the No. 14-seed after finishing the regular season at 11-19 overall and 3-13 in the conference.
- The Panthers have lost its last four contests since downing Clemson on Feb. 16.
- Brianna Kiesel, who missed the first meeting against Wake Forest, leads the team in scoring at 16.6 points per game. She has also dished-out a team-high 108 assists and leads the squad with 48 steals.
- Asia Logan is the team-leader in rebounds (6.5 rpg) and blocks (35) while scoring 11.7 ppg.
Series History
- This will be just the third meeting all-time between the two teams.
- The series is tied 1-1.
- Wake Forest won the earlier meeting this season 74-70 on Feb. 9, in Pittsburgh.

- The winner of Wednesday night's game will take on the No. 6-seed North Carolina in the second round at 8 p.m. on Thursday evening.
