
Kelly and Rodriguez Selected to Valley League All-Star Game

HARRISONBURG, Va. - Rising juniors Joey Rodriguez and Garrett Kelly have been selected to play for the South team in the Valley League All-Star game on Saturday, July 6 in Harrisonburg, Va.
Rodriguez, a member of the Staunton Braves, is hitting .345 in summer collegiate baseball. He has 29 hits, five doubles, seven RBIs and 13 stolen bases. Kelly, a right-handed pitcher for the New Market Rebels currently has a 2.10 ERA and a 2-1 record. In 30.0 innings pitched, he has struck out 17 and given up just 19 hits.
Saturday's All-Star game will start at 7:30 at Veterans Memorial Park in Harrisonburg and will feature a 60-yard dash contest and home run derby prior to the game.
In addition, Nick Bisplinghoff was named to the 2014 Florida Collegiate Summer League All-Star Game and will play for the South Team.
