Joey Rodriguez Named to the All-Valley League First Team

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Rising junior Joey Rodriguez was named to the All-Valley League First Team this week, as announced by the league office.

The All-Valley teams were voted on by the summer collegiate baseball Valley League team officials and media. Rodriguez hit .355 in 38 games for the Staunton Braves. He recorded 54 hits, 42 runs, 12 doubles, one triple and two home runs with 22 RBIs. Rodriguez also stole 20 bases this summer.

During the 2014 season for Wake Forest, Rodriguez had 21 hits with five doubles and a homer. He was also a perfect six-for-six in stolen bases.
