The Demon Deacons head to California for a pair of games, beginning with top-ranked and defending national champion UCLA on Friday at 8:30 p.m. ET (5:30 local time).

No. 1 UCLA hasn't lost a game in more than a full calendar year; the last loss was to North Carolina on Sept. 6, 2013.
Keeper Katelyn Rowland has earned seven straight shutouts dating back to the College Cup a year ago. The Bruins are yet to allow a goal this season, and have conceded just 14 shots.
UCLA enters with a 5-0-1 record, tying North Carolina 0-0 but defeating the other five opponents by a combined 16-0.

Wake Forest earned its 250th all-time victory by defeating No. 13 Georgetown on Sunday.
Having played just over 20 seasons, the Demon Deacons have averaged more than 12 wins per season since debuting in 1994.
Head coach Tony da Luz has been at the helm for 219 of those 250 wins.

Wake Forest is coming off a win over a top-15 team for the first time in 364 days. The Deacs are now 1-0 against ranked programs this season.
The Deacs have started at least seven underclassmen and at least four freshmen in each of the first five contests.
In the 2014 season, Wake Forest has games scheduled against eight NCAA Tournament teams from a year ago, including six of the eight quarterfinal squads.
