Wake Forest battled No. 23 Long Beach State to a 1-1 draw following two overtime periods.
Seven seconds after a Riley Ridgik penalty kick was saved, LBSU committed another foul in the box. This time, Kim Marshall took the penalty and scored to even the game at 1-1.
Lindsay Preston saved six of Long Beach State's seven shots on goal to continue her solid play in net.

NC State enters the contest with a 2-4-2, tying in its two most recent games against Western Carolina and UNC Greensboro.
The Wolfpack is led by freshman Kayla Saager, who leads the squad with four goals. So far in 2014, 14 of NC State's 36 points have come from rookies.
In goal, Mackenzie Stelljes (2-4-1, 1.89 GAA, .675 save%) and Karly Gustafson (0-0-1, 1.93 GAA, .727 save%) have each seen time.
Wake Forest and NC State have two common opponents. The Wolfpack defeated UNC Wilmington 2-1, and fell to then-No.20 Georgetown, 6-0.
20th Anniversary Celebration >>
Wake Forest women's soccer is welcoming back a total of 34 alumni for this weekend's 20th Annivesary celebration.
A total of 12 members of the inaugural 1994 team have returned to Winston-Salem for the weekend festivities.
Alumni are returning from 10 different states (North Carolina, South Carolina, California, Georgia, Utah, Virginia, Colorado, Massachusetts, Montana, Ohio) and Washington D.C.
Wake Forest Storylines >>
Wake Forest heads into ACC play with a losing record for the first time since 2001. Then, the Deacs were 0-3-1 before the first conference game, and ended up qualifying for the NCAA Tournament.
The Deacs have started at least seven underclassmen and at least four freshmen in every game this season.
In the 2014 season, Wake Forest has games scheduled against eight NCAA Tournament teams from a year ago, including six of the eight quarterfinal squads.
