WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - The Wake Forest women's tennis team wrapped up competition at the William & Mary Tribe Invitational on Sunday at the McCormack-Nagelsen Tennis Center.

The Deacs finished the tournament winning three singles matches against VCU. Samantha Asch, Kasey Gardiner, and Karen Forman were the three players to earn victories.

Asch defeated Olga Barscheheuskaya 6-4, 6-2, Gardiner beat Ludivine Burguiere 6-4, 2-6, 10-7, and Forman won her matchup against Ana Batiri.

The Demon Deacons return to action on Saturday, September 27, to take part in the Riviera ITA All-American Championships in Pacific Palisades, California. The Deacs will then return home to host the Wake Forest Invitational from October 3-5.
