Dearica Hamby grabbed her 800th career rebound in the win over American. She is just the 4th Demon Deacon to record 1,000 career points and 800 career rebounds along with Jen Hoover, Tracy Connor and Secily Ray.
Dearica Hamby has been named to all three preseason watch lists for National Player of the Year. In addition to the Naismith, she is on the Wade Watch and Wooden lists.
Dearica Hamby has seven double-doubles this season and 32 for her career.
• Freshman Amber Campbell has scored in double-figures in 10 of Wake Forest's 15 games. She is the only player to start all 13 games this season.
Dearica Hamby is third in the ACC in scoring (20.3 ppg) and is third in rebounding (10.4 rpg).
