The Match-Up
• Wake Forest looks to pick up its third straight road win, traveling to North Carolina on Saturday at 7 p.m.

Wake Forest Storylines
• Wake Forest won a defensive battle, edging Boston College 3-0 with a goal-line stand to end the game.
• Each team forced and recovered a fumble in the final 70 seconds. The Eagles rushed for a first down to the WF 1-yard-line in the final minute. Then, on 1st-and-goal tried to rush again but were stuffed by Demetrius Kemp up the middle. The clock expired as the Eagles tried to spike the ball.
• After not forcing a turnover the first five games, the defense broke open for four against the Eagles. Cameron Glenn recorded the first takeaway of the year with his first-career interception. Then, the Deacs forced and recovered three fumbles.
• Wake Forest is 20th in the country in scoring defense, allowing just 17.0 points per game, eighth in passing defense, and 15th in total defense.
• Wake Forest's 2015 opponents have a combined record of 43-24, including two unbeaten teams in Florida State and Clemson.

The Opposition & Series History
• Wake Forest and North Carolina are meeting for the 106th time in the ACC's oldest series.
• North Carolina holds a 68-35-2 advantage all-time, but Wake Forest has taken three of the last four and six of the last 10.
• The two teams played the first intercollegiate football game in the state when Wake Forest defeated North Carolina 6-4 at the State Fairgrounds in 1888.
• In January, Wake Forest and UNC announced the first-ever Power Five intra-conference non-conference series. The ACC foes will meet in 2019 and 2021 in what will officially be non-conference games.
• Coming off an open weekend, North Carolina is 4-1 overall and is receiving votes in both the AP Top 25 and Coaches Poll.
