Wake Forest Hosts Duke
• Wake Forest hosts its Dig For a Cure Breast Cancer Awareness match on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. as it takes on Duke at Reynolds Gymnasium.
• The Demon Deacons play at home for their third-straight match, their longest stretch of consecutive home contests in conference play.
• The Deacons and Blue Devils are meeting for the second time this season and the 64th time overall. Duke defeated the Deacs in straight sets in the teams' ACC opener on Sept. 23.
Last Time Out
• Wake Forest dropped ACC matches at home to Virginia Tech and Pittsburgh last weekend. The Deacs fell in four sets to the Hokies and in three sets to the Panthers.
• Caroline Wolf had 22 digs on the week and became the 15th Deacon all-time to surpass the 900-dig mark for her career at 901.
• Kylie Long posted 27 kills, including 14 on a .480 hitting percentage against the Panthers.
Wolf's Big Week
• Caroline Wolf was named the ACC Co-Player of the Week last week.
• Her 42 digs against Notre Dame were the second-most in a four-set match in ACC volleyball history, as well as the most in the NCAA in a four-set match in 2015—it was the fifth-highest total nationally in any match this season.
• Wolf enters this week with the most digs in the conference at 378. She is tied for third in the ACC with a 4.61 digs-per-set average.
Atop the ACC
• Hanna Lee is second in the ACC in service aces with 33 and is tied for third in aces per set at 0.41.
• Kylie Long enters the week second in the league with 298 kills. Her 3.68 kills-per-set mark slots her sixth.
Scouting Duke
• Coming off wins over Pittsburgh and Virginia Tech last weekend, Duke is 10-10 overall with a 5-5 conference ledger.
• The Blue Devils lead the ACC in digs per set as a team with 17.26, led by Sasha Karelov's 4.95 digs-per-set clip. Offensively, they are led by two-time AVCA All-American and 2013 ACC Player of the Year Emily Sklar, who has a team-best 3.91 kills per set.
Next on the Docket
• Wake Forest will be back in action Friday night on the road against Virginia. The Demon Deacons topped the Cavaliers in five sets on Sept. 26 to pick up their first conference win of the year.
• The Deacs will stay on the road next week when they travel to Clemson and Georgia Tech before coming home Nov. 13 against Boston College.
