WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- Several former Demon Deacons have taken their careers to the next level to the NFL and are currently on active rosters. We take a look at what each former Deac did around the NFL over the weekend.

FB Tommy Bohanon, New York Jets
Bohanon got his third start of the season and had his biggest game of the year by yardage in a 30-23 loss to the undefeated New England Patriots. The third-year former Deacon didn't record any rushing yards, but caught two balls for 36 yards, making Bohanon the third leading receiver for the Jets in the game.

DB Josh Bush, Buffalo Bills
After being released by the Denver Broncos, Bush found a new home with the Bills on October 14. He has yet to see action in a Buffalo uniform.

WR Michael Campanaro, Baltimore Ravens
Campanaro scored his first touchdown of the season on Oct. 1, but the second-year pro later suffered a herniated disc, and has been placed on season-ending Injured Reserve. "I know I belong on the field when I'm out there. It's definitely motivation going into next year for myself. Right now, my focus is on getting healthy and supporting the guys," Campanaro said.

WR Chris Givens, Baltimore Ravens
Still finding his role with the Ravens after a mid-season trade, Givens caught his longest pass of season, pulling down a late-game reception for 31 yards in a 26-18 Monday night loss to the Arizona Cardinals.

LB Justin Jackson, Dallas Cowboys
After signing with the Cowboys in June, Jackson tore his ACL in practice in early August. He will miss the 2015 season.

DB Kevin Johnson, Houston Texans
Johnson got the third start of his career in a 44-26 loss to the Miami Dolphins on Sunday, showing his increasing importance on the Texan defense. The first-round draft pick recorded two solo tackles on the game. Local media members project Johnson as a future number one corner for Houston.

OL Joe Looney, Tennessee Titans
After being released by the San Francisco 49ers in the preseason, Looney got his first shot of the 2015 season when he was signed by the Tennessee Titans on October 20. He immediately saw action in a 10-7 loss to the Atlanta Falcons.

DB Merrill Noel, Buffalo Bills
After being released by the team on September 4, Noel was signed to the Bills practice squad.

LB Calvin Pace, New York Jets
Pace, a 13-year NFL veteran, had his best game of the season in Week 7, sacking Tom Brady and deflecting a pass to add to his two tackles in a 30-23 loss to the New England Patriots. Pace now has 593 tackles and 58 sacks in his career.

LB Zach Thompson, Baltimore Ravens
After seeing action in all four preseason games for the Ravens and recording a tackle in the final preseason contest against the Atlanta Falcons, Thompson was placed on Injured Reserve.

FB Nikita Whitlock, New York Giants
Whitlock got the second start of the season at fullback in a 27-20 win over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, but did not record any statistics on offense.

LB Kyle Wilber, Dallas Cowboys
Wilber saw action in the Cowboys' 27-20 loss to the New York Giants on Sunday night, but did not record any statistics.
