PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. -- Wake Forest women's tennis players Kimmy Guerin and Kasey Gardiner dropped an 8-5 decision in pre-qualifying doubles action at the Riviera/ITA All-American Championships on Sunday, closing the Demon Deacons' run in the tournament.
Guerin and Gardiner, the No. 4-seed in the draw, lost to Petra Horakova and Caitlin Herb or Louisiana-Monroe after earning a bye into the second round thanks to the seed.
