Deacons to Host Boston College, Syracuse
• After three-straight matches away from home, Wake Forest will return home for the first time in 14 days when it takes on Boston College on Friday. The Deacs will then host Syracuse on Sunday.
• Friday's match will begin at 6:30 p.m. and Sunday's contest will start at 1 p.m.
Last Time Out
• The Demon Deacons snapped a four-match losing skid last Friday with a 3-2 win at Clemson. Wake Forest then dropped a five-set affair at Georgia Tech on Sunday afternoon.
• With the pair of 3-2 decisions, the Demon Deacons are now 4-1 in five-set matches this season.
• Sophia Dodd posted a double-double in each match, finishing the week with 92 assists and 28 digs. Caroline Wolf racked up 66 digs, including 39 in the team's win over the Tigers. Kylie Long tallied 35 kills on the week.
Wolf Nearing Milestone
• Sophomore Caroline Wolf enters the weekend two digs away from becoming the 11 Demon Deacon with 1,000-career digs.
• The Naperville, Ill. native leads the ACC with 475 digs on the year.
• Wolf was named the ACC Co-Player of the Week on Oct. 19 after racking up a career-best 42 digs at Notre Dame. That total was the second-most in a four-set match in ACC volleyball history, as well as the most in the NCAA in a four-set match in 2015.
Among the ACC's Best
• Going into the week, Hanna Lee is third in the ACC in service aces with 35 and is tied for third in aces per set at 0.36.
• Kylie Long is second in the league in kills with 359. Her 3.66 kills-per-set mark slots her sixth.
Scouting Boston College
• Boston College goes into Friday's match with an identical record to Wake Forest's, 11-15 and 3-11 in the ACC.
• The Eagles' Katty Workman goes into the week with the conference lead in kills per set with 3.99. BC's Brittany Pavich is third in the league in hitting percentage with a .383 mark.
Scouting Syracuse
• The Orange goes into the week with an 18-7 record, including 9-5 in the ACC. SU plays at Duke on Friday morning.
• Syracuse's Leah Levert leads the conference with 129 total blocks and is sixth in hitting percentage at .362.
Next On the Docket
• The Deacs take their final road trip of the year when they head to No. 20 Florida State and Miami.
• Wake Forest finishes the year with home tilts against No. 25 North Carolina and NC State.
