WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- Several former Demon Deacons have taken their careers to the next level to the NFL and are currently on active rosters. We take a look at what each former Deac did around the NFL over the weekend.

FB Tommy Bohanon, New York Jets
Bohanon was part of a big 38-20 Jets victory over the Miami Dolphins. He saw the field on 27 snaps as a run blocker.

DB Josh Bush, Denver Broncos
After being released by the Broncos earlier this season, Bush was re-signed to the team on Wednesday. He is expected to provide extra depth at the DB position after the Broncos lost starter T.J. Ward to an ankle injury.

WR Michael Campanaro, Baltimore Ravens
Campanaro scored his first touchdown of the season on Oct. 1, but the second-year pro later suffered a herniated disc, and has been placed on season-ending Injured Reserve. "I know I belong on the field when I'm out there. It's definitely motivation going into next year for myself. Right now, my focus is on getting healthy and supporting the guys," Campanaro said.

WR Chris Givens, Baltimore Ravens
In the Ravens' wild victory over the Cleveland Browns on Monday night by a score of 33-27, Givens gave Baltimore a key explosive play. He beat CB Tramon Williams and caught a 48 yard reception to set up a game-tying touchdown later in the drive.

LB Justin Jackson, Dallas Cowboys
After signing with the Cowboys in June, Jackson tore his ACL in practice in early August. He will miss the 2015 season.

DB Kevin Johnson, Houston Texans
Johnson was part of a dominant defensive effort in a 24-6 victory over the New Orleans Saints on Sunday. The rookie and first-round draft pick had four tackles and started his fifth straight game for Houston. He now has 39 tackles in his first season, along with an interception.

OL Joe Looney, Tennessee Titans
Looney did not play in the Titans' 24-21 loss at home to the Oakland Raiders. The Titans have been testing newly signed free agents on the offensive line.

DB Merrill Noel, Buffalo Bills
After being released by the team on September 4, Noel was signed to the Bills practice squad.

LB Calvin Pace, New York Jets
Although he didn't get the start on Sunday, Pace saw action and recorded one tackle in a 38-20 win over the Miami Dolphins. Pace suffered an abdominal strain in the game, and has not participated in practice this week.

LB Zach Thompson, Baltimore Ravens
After seeing action in all four preseason games for the Ravens and recording a tackle in the final preseason contest against the Atlanta Falcons, Thompson was placed on Injured Reserve.

FB Nikita Whitlock, New York Giants
Continuing his role as a rare two-way player in the NFL, Whitlock saw action on both offense and defense in the Giants' 20-14 loss to the Washington Redskins. Sean Tomlinson, an NFL analyst with Bleacher Report, wrote a feature story last week on how Whitlock developed into a multi-position NFL player, available by clicking HERE

LB Kyle Wilber, Dallas Cowboys
Wilber had the task of matching up against the undefeated Carolina Panthers on Thanksgiving, and he recorded three tackles in the Cowboy's 33-14 loss at home.
