DEACS RETURN HOME TO HOST ARKANSAS
Wake Forest returns home to start a season-long four-game homestand by hosting Arkansas at the Coliseum
The Deacs have played their last four games away from home, going 2-1 at the Maui Jim Maui Invitational and winning at Rutgers in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge
It is the second of three games this season for the Deacs against the SEC
Wake enters the game on an eight-game losing streak against SEC foes, with its last win coming in 2006-07 against Vanderbilt
SERIES HISTORY
Demon Deacons lead the all-time series 4-3, but Arkansas has won both previous meetings at Wake Forest
The Razorbacks won last year's matchup in Fayetteville, 83-53
Wake's last win in the series came in 2000-01, a 76-71 win at Arkansas
The last game in Winston-Salem was a 75-59 Razroback win in 1998-99
LAST TIME OUT
The Deacons won their second true road game of the season, rallying for a 69-68 victory at Rutgers Monday in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge
Wake Forest used a late 16-2 run to come back from down 12 points with 8:54 to play
Devin Thomas had 23 points and 17 rebounds to lead the Deacons
Cornelius Hudson delivered the game-winning basket with 17.9 left
<>NOTHING IS OVER UNTIL WE DECIDE IT IS!
Wake has rallied from down double-digits in two of its five wins this year
The Deacs trailed by 13 in the first half and by 11 at the half in their 90-82 victory at Bucknell on Nov. 15
Wake came back from 12 down in the second half of the 69-68 win at Rutgers in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge on Nov. 30
It is the first time the Deacs have rallied from at least 12 points down to win twice in a season since 2012-13 and just third third time in history they have accomplished the feat twice on the road in the same season (2006-07, 1981-82)
POWER (FIVE) SCHEDULING
Tonight's game is Wake Forest's fifth consecutive game against a team from a "Power Five" conference (ACC, Big Ten, Big 12, Pac-12, SEC)
Wake is the only "Power Five" team to play five straight non-conference games against other "Power Five" teams this year
THOMAS DOMINATING INSIDE
Devin Thomas is one of two players nationally to have a pair of games this season of at least 20 points and 15 rebounds, joining LSU freshman Ben Simmons
Thomas had 21 points and 17 rebounds vs. UMBC and 23 points and 17 rebounds at Rutgers
Thomas' three career 20-and-15 games are tied with Travis McKie and Al-Farouq Aminu for the most by a Deacon in the post-Tim Duncan era
UP NEXT
The Deacons host UNCG on Dec. 15 after an 11-day break for exams
Wake has won all eight previous meetings with the Spartans, including a 59-51 win in Winston-Salem in 2013-14 in the last contest
