The teams were similarly ranked in that contest; Wake Forest was No. 19 and South Carolina was No. 26.

Kyle Koch leads the team with a 12-5 singles record, including a 3-1 mark in dual match play at a 2-0 record at No. 2 singles.

In his first five matches, Rubin has wins over players ranked 36th, 69th and 85th in the nation.
