He also became the first Wake Forest men's tennis player to earn ACC Player of the Year honors in program history. • Prior to falling to Virginia in the ACC Finals, Wake had won a nine matches in a row. That ties for the longest streak for the Deacs since winning nine in a row during the 2007 season and is the longest streak since opening the 2013 season on a seven-match winning streak. • All seven of the Deacs' losses this year were against teams in the ITA Top 40. • The Demon Deacons have now won 23 matches on the 2015 campaign, which ties the program record set in 2007.	Record: 18-9 Conference Record: 7-2 Head Coach: Marcelo Ferreira National Ranking: No. 39 Nationally Ranked Singles: None Nationally Ranked Doubles: None Last NCAA Appearance: 2013 Quarterfinals (L,4-2 vs. Georgia) Scouting Pepperdine • All-time, Pepperdine is making its 38th appearance in the NCAA Championship. • Pedro Iamachkine has clinched 10 of Pepperdine's 18 victories this season, five of which have come in 4-3 victories for the Waves. • Friday's tournament match will be the first NCAA Tournament experience for all but one player on the Pepperdine roster. Only Kento Tanaka-Tamaki has been to an NCAA Championship before 2015. • Pepperdine is 59-35 all-time in the NCAA Championship, winning the national championship in 2006. It's most recent runs in the tournament consisted of a semifinals berth in 2012 and a quarterfinals berth in 2013.
