Bogaerts, Mansouri Named to All-ACC Academic Team

GREENSBORO, N.C. – A pair of Demon Deacons were named to the 2015 All-ACC Academic Men's Tennis Team, the league office announced Wednesday morning.
Romain Bogaerts earned the honor for the second time in his career, while Skander Mansouri picks up the accolades for the first time.
To be eligible for consideration for the All-ACC Academic Team, a student-athlete must have earned a 3.00 grade point average for the previous semester and maintained a 3.00 cumulative average during his academic career.
Bogaerts, a junior Business & Enterprise Management major, finished the season with a 26-9 overall record, including a stellar 10-1 mark in ACC play. He earned All-America honors and finished the season ranked in the top 20 nationally in singles play.
Mansouri, a freshman who is yet to declare a major, posted a 23-16 singles record and went 26-12 in doubles, leading the team in doubles victories. Teaming with Christian Seraphim, he rattled off 13 consecutive doubles wins and the duo was ranked as high as No. 9 nationally.
Wake Forest finished the year with a 24-9 record, setting a program record for wins in a season. The Demon Deacons reached the round of 16 in the NCAA Championship.
