
Dennis Uspensky Signs with Wake Forest

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Wake Forest men's tennis head coach Tony Bresky announced Wednesday the program has signed Dennis Uspensky to a national letter of intent.
"We are excited to announce the addition of Dennis to our program, " Bresky said. "Dennis has been one of the top international junior tennis players and has been steadily climbing the ATP Tour rankings as well. He will make an immediate impact on our team and we are looking forward to having him at Wake Forest."
Currently, Uspensky is ranked No. 1,158 in the ATP rankings in singles while holding a ranking of No. 1,030 in doubles. In his career, Uspensky has been ranked as high as No. 3 in the nation in 2014 and No. 1 in 2013.
Throughout his career, Uspensky has already competed in the Junior French Open, Wimbledon and the U.S. Open. This year, Uspensky has posted highlight wins over Sekou Bengoura, the No. 566 ranked player in the world, Will Spencer, who is No. 570 in the world, and Catalin Gard, the 769th ranked player in the world.
Now set to attend Wake Forest, Uspensky reached a career high ITF Junior Ranking of No. 54 in the world during his amateur career.
