Wake Forest wrapped up its first week of football camp and is ready for its first scrimmage on Saturday at 2 p.m. at BB&T Field.

The Deacons will scrimmage live for approximately two hours.

"Overall we've had a really good week. You can tell it's the second year in the system," head coach Dave Clawson said. "We're clearly a stronger and faster football team."

Following the scrimmage, Wake Forest will hold its annual Fan Fest at 5 p.m., also at BB&T Field. Student-athletes and coaches will be available for autographs and pictures.

Demon Deacon Fans of all ages are encouraged to attend Fan Fest. Other activities will include food and drinks, inflatable games, face painting and special appearances by the Demon Deacon and the Wake Forest spirit squad.

Fan Fest will also feature Select-Your-Seat, which allows fans to reserve their season tickets for the 2015 football season. Some of the best remaining seats at BB&T Field will be available for purchase, and ticket representatives will be on hand to assist fans and answer questions.

Admission and parking to both the scrimmage and Fan Fest are free of charge.
