Then, the Deacs close out the homestand on Sunday, playing host to UNC Wilmington for a 1 p.m. game.

Last Time Out
Wake Forest split a pair of games last weekend, knocking off George Mason 1-0 on Sunday after falling to UCLA on Friday, 2-1. On Friday, Sarah Medina scored for the second straight game, but the Bruins scored twice in the second half to claim the victory. Against the Patriots, the Deacs earned a 21-5 shots advantage and finally found the back of the net with a Sarah Teegarden second-half penalty kick. Nonie Frishette and Lindsay Preston combined for the shutout.
Grace Rapp scored a pair of goals off the bench as Miami (3-4) cruised to a 5-1 victory over North Florida. The Hurricanes have won three consecutive games by an 8-1 margin after dropping their first four.
UNCW is also playing well, currently on a four-match winning streak in which the Seahawks have out-scored foes 9-1. Most recently, Lindsey Byrne and Maddie McCormick found the back of the net in a 2-0 win over Campbell.
Spreading The Wealth
Wake Forest has scored nine goals as a team in 2015, coming from seven different scorers, and nine Deacs have tallied at least one point.
Last year, there were only nine different goal scorers all season, and 11 players recorded a point.
Seven different Deacs have compiled Wake Forest's 10 assists, with Maddie Huster, Bayley Feist and Sarah Teegarden tallying two apiece.
Fountain of Youth
Wake Forest had an extremely young team a year ago, starting at least seven underclassmen and at least four freshmen in every game.
That hasn't changed much in 2015, with 12 freshmen joining the program.
The Deacons return a total of 19 players for the 2015 season, including 11 who made at least five starts.
This year, seven different freshmen have already started games.
A Challenging Year
Wake Forest played eight ranked opponents in the regular season last year, all of them consensus top 25 teams in both the NSCAA and Soccer America. That is the most of any ACC team. This year, the Deacons have games scheduled against eight teams that made the NCAA Tournament a year ago, including six straight from Sept. 27 - Oct. 16.
